                                 Guitar Lessons Bellevue

From beginning to advanced. Whether you want to learn to play basic guitar for enjoyment or you've played for years and seek to sharpen existing skills I can help. My home studio is in
downtown Bellevue and I teach in downtown Redmond as well.

Below are samples of music that you might want to explore at lessons but
I'll teach you anything you want to learn from Bach to rock. My students are all ages
and like all kinds of music so anything goes!

The right instructor makes a big difference. Here's me with 3  instructors with whom I was fortunate enough to study. L to R me,Christopher Parkening, Steven Novacek, Gary Bissiri. Parkening is world renown recording and performing artist who currently teaches at Pepperdine. Steve Novacek was head of the guitar departments at both the University of Washington and Cornish College of The Arts until his recent retirement. He and Gary Bissiri recorded and performed as well as owned and operated The Rosewood Guitar store when it was located in the University District in Seattle  where I studied with them privately.

Another very influential teacher with whom I studied in a masterclass is David Russell. He is

known the world over for his concert performances and recordings.

The purpose of this site is to give people an idea of my background and services. Many students ask, "Were you ever in a band?" The history page answers that question as well as pays homage to former  bandmates many of whom I am still in contact with and a few who I'd love to hear from.

I have studied privately with teachers in Pennsylvania, California, and Washington and consider private study essential to progress on an instrument. Look forward to hearing from you!
